Video: Churmuri Chikki (Puffed Rice Bars) | Using Jaggery

Churmuri Chikki is a very simple snack. Churmuri is nothing but the puffed rice. Traditionally it is made only with puffed rice, jaggery and then shaped into balls. I made it just like bars as it is easier to eat. It requires very few ingredients and the resulting snack is tasty and crunchy. To enhance the taste I have added roasted, salted peanuts. Ingredients: Puffed Rice - 4 cup Soft Jaggery (Antu Bella) - 3/4 cup Roasted Salted Peanuts - 1/2 cup Water - 2 Tbsp Ghee - 1 tsp Cardamom Pod - 1
