Ponsa Muddo is a seasonal breakfast dish. Ripe jackfruit pods are ground with coconut, rice and sweetened with jaggery. It is then flavored with cardamom. The batter is steamed in teak leaves (or banana leaves). It is then served warm with ghee and honey. It is a delicious breakfast dish which is very flavorful. I hope you enjoy making it. Ingredients:
Cleaned Jackfruit pods - 1 1/2 cups
Idli Rava - 1 1/4 cup
Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 1/2 to 2/3 cup
Cardamom pods - 4
Banana leaves
